Proposed Construction Of Bangladesh Chancery Complex And High Commissioner’s Residence In Bandar Seri Begawan, Negara Brunei Darussalam

Summary Description

The SCOPE to be carried out under this CONTRACT is the construction and completion of the following: –

1. The building works as listed below: –

i. Chancery Building (2 Storey Building) (GIA approximately 2349m²)

Consists of main lobby Diplomatic Lounge with reception counter, Consular and Labour Office, Office for the Diplomatic Staffs, Counselor Office and Ambassador’s Office and lounge, open pantry, library, pantry, meeting room (22 pax), filling room, mechanical & electrical rooms (server room, AHU room and electrical room) and other utility and toilet facilities. In addition, the building also have Multi-Purpose Hall (approx. 350 pax) and attached staff dormitory at the back of Chancery Building.

ii. Officers’ Residence Building (GIA approximately 1009.9m²)

Consists of entrance lobby, formal living room, formal dining room, guest bedroom with attached walk-in closet, master bedroom and bedrooms with attached walk-in closet, study room, family lounge, kitchen and other utility and toilet facilities.

iii. High Commissioner’s Residence

Consists of entrance lobby, formal living room, formal dining room, guest bedroom with attached walk-in closet, master bedroom and bedrooms with attached walk-in closet, study room, family lounge, swimming pool, kitchen and other utility and toilet facilities.

iv. External Ancillary Buildings such as substation and gen set building and bin centre.

2. The associated external works and services as listed below: –

i. Site formation and turfing
ii. Landscaping and water fountain
iii. Roads and carparks
iv. Shaheed Minar Monument
v. Ancillary buildings –
Consists of substation, generator room, rubbish bin centre, domestic water tank and fire water tank and pump room, guard house.
vi. Stormwater drains
vii. Foul drains
viii. External water supply
