Celebrating 25 Years of Utamacon (B) Sdn Bhd: A Night of Glamour and Fun

Utamacon (B) Sdn Bhd celebrated its 25th Anniversary, marking its formation in 1998, with a spectacular dinner event held on 15 February 2025 at the Banquet Hall of J Hotel in Kiulap. The event was attended by around 70 staff members and featured an Oscar-themed celebration.

The event kicked off with a speech delivered by the Utamacon Group Managing Director/General Manager, who is also the founder of Utamacon (B) Sdn Bhd, Tuan Sr. Md Shafie Bin Hj Md Yusof. He reflected on the company’s growth and achievements over the years and shared insights about the early days of Utamacon’s formation and its journey since its inception.

A special moment of the evening was the Long Service Award ceremony. Two dedicated staff members, Sr. Mohamed Humdhan, the Deputy Director/Head of Project Management who joined the company in 1996, and Jeffery Hj Salleh, the Head of Quality who joined in 1997, were honored for their years of service. The awards were presented by the Director/Deputy General Manager of Utamacon (B) Sdn Bhd, Sr. Ak Muhd Adib Bin Pg Hj Ali Hassen.

The event was filled with entertainment, including a singing and dancing performance by professional guest performers and dancers. A fun quiz related to Utamacon also kept everyone engaged, along with a lucky draw that added excitement to the evening. Staff members who embraced the Oscar theme were also recognized for their creativity, with the Best Dressed Male and Female receiving special accolades. The night culminated with the grand lucky draw and a free karaoke session, providing a memorable and fun-filled conclusion to the celebration.
