Safety Sharing on Emergency Situation Response

The UGC HSE team recently hosted a safety sharing session on emergency situation response at the KB office on 8 July 2024, attended by the KB office staff. This critical training aimed to equip staff with the necessary knowledge and skills to handle emergencies effectively. The session was led by the Head of HSE, Azim Latip, with the assistance of Assistant HSE Officer, Maisarah Shafie. The HSE team emphasized the importance of understanding and executing proper emergency procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all employees.

The safety sharing continued at the BSB office on 11 July 2024, where it was conducted in 2 separate sessions to accommodate all staff members. The morning and afternoon sessions ensured that every employee had the opportunity to participate and learn from the valuable insights provided by the HSE team. Azim Latip and Maisarah Shafie once again led the sessions, delivering detailed briefings on the steps to take during various emergency situations, such as fire outbreaks, medical emergencies, and evacuation procedures.

Throughout the sessions, the HSE team stressed the significance of having a thorough understanding of emergency response protocols. They highlighted that being knowledgeable and prepared can make a critical difference in minimizing risks and ensuring a coordinated response during emergencies. The training was well-received by the staff, who appreciated the practical guidance and clear instructions provided, reinforcing the company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and secure workplace environment.
